Almost!

Last night I watched Alex work so hard on rolling from his back to his tummy! It was so cute. He would put both legs up in the air, and hold his hands to his chest, then he would push really hard to one side. Once he got on his side he would grunt and kick his legs, trying so hard to get to his tummy. He never did make it. I think his arm and big tummy were getting in the way. He worked so hard at it for almost a half hour. Very cute! I was on the edge of my seat. He has rolled from his tummy to his back a few times, and does that more and more.

I ended up grabbing his hand and helping him make it over so he could see what it felt like. I feel like it will be any day now. He is a very determined boy!

Another new thing around here is Alex's new found love for toys! He loves his play mats, and batting at the toys hanging from it. We have gotten out his baby toys and play with him and he loves that too. It's cute to see him playing with toys now.

He also found his hair! He reaches his right hand up to the top of his head and plays with his hair! It is so adorable! I guess he figures if everyone else is always going to have their hands in his hair, then he can play with it too! It's cute, but I don't like when he pulls on it. I love his hair sooo much, and I don't want him pulling it out! Funny thing is, Joe said the same thing to me. "Don't let him pull those cute little hairs out".

It took two months but he figured out "razzing". He has been watching his dad razz since he was a month old. We could not believe it when Joe would stick his tongue out and blow, Alex would also stick his tongue out, but he could not get that last step. For the last week or so he has gotten the blowing part, but no he keeps his tongue in his month when he does it. He is such a drooler that he ends up blowing bubbles. We cheer him on, and now he can do it with his tongue too! We are so proud of him. All you have to do is stick your tongue out and make the razzing noise and he will do it back at you. So cute!
