To call or not to call!

Tomorrow is the big day! I get to go and hear his heartbeat. Wow! I am very excited. I have thought about our b-mom all week. I have almost called her everyday. But I don't. I told her I would check in once a week and I don't want to push that.

I did call her today just to make sure we are all set for tomorrow, and that went well. It was just a short conversation. I asked if she cared that Joe would be coming tomorrow and she said that would be fine. I asked how she was feeling and she said really good. I could hear her kids yelling in the background and she said they were being wild today. I laughed and told her we would see her tomorrow.

Last night I worked in the babies room some more. Side note: I read a lot of adoption blogs, and a lot of other moms that are getting ready to adopt our afraid to call it "the babies room" until the baby is in it. I have thought a lot about this lately. I go even further and call it Alex's room. Reading other peoples blogs have made me rethink calling it Alex's room, but to just call it the babies room, because if not in 6 weeks, there will be a baby in there at some point! Anyway, back to what I was saying. Last night I spot cleaned the carpet a little. There was a futon in there and that was Baxter's favorite spot to go and take things. When we were getting ready for our meeting last week it was a pen that he took, and when I pulled the futon out of there I found ink on the carpet! I bought two kinds of spot cleaner and tried both. It wasn't until i was done trying that i looked online and read that you should never rub ink in. Lol Little too late! I had been there for ten minutes rubbing and scrubbing on it! Oh well! It's under the crib, so no one will ever even see it. Tonight some very good friends of mine are coming over to help me tape of a stripe around the room that will be a light green! I can't wait to have the painting done!

On a sad note. We lost someone very special to us this week, and we are very upset about that.
